This is really outside of my collecting interests, but I don't like it at all. The ring looks oversized and the rims and core don't fit correctly. The finish looks chemically applied.

It's a fake and if you look closely you'll see it has the same frame as the EK1 Spange combo posted in the TR Decorations forum.
I think this is a Latvian fake, hopefully one of the guys here can confirm.

In latvia they make fakes? I thoung that there had a plenty of original stuff...

Adrian is right. This is the so called "Latvian Fake". It can be found in 1813,1870,1914 and 1939 versions. I have seen it in both 1st and 2nd class and in pin back and screw back attachments.

It has a very unique look to the crown and to the frame inner corners. Once you study
it a bit they become pretty easy to spot.
