    The pin is not unusual for one of these Great War crosses.
    'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.

    No it is not, but it has the blued ( not painted) sheet metal core and the typical Zimmerman setup :-)

    Text book version of this cross, including the "Platypus" pin.
