flea market find wwi german iron cross

Found this wwi german 2nd class iron cross at a flea market . The loop has broken off . What i was told it was found in a garage at the bottom of a tool box.

It's always fun to find one "in the wild" instead of on ebay or at a gun/military show.

Thats a nice find, shame about the loop, but its not worth a great deal, a good jeweller could make one and attach it for you if you give him good photos of the original loops and suspension ring, it would be a nice display item
