Part of a recent grouping I was given was this
memorial / funeral sash.

This was brought back by a ww2 American GI. Kind
of makes me wonder-----Why.

It really caught my eye as it looks like a non-com Ek ribbon.
But after a rough google translation, it just seems to me to
be a strange thing to "liberate".

I imagine the GI did not read German so just grabbed it
because it looked cool.
