    I would think that a piece like yours would be marked.
    Usually right where the blade meets the crossguard.

    The mark could be hidden by the protrusions of the guard.

    I still think it should be displayed with my spiked helm.

    Hi Greg,

    I just finished looking at the sword again and i still cannot see a makers mark. Well, back to square one. If you or any of our other fine members can give me any further direction in solving this mystery i sure as hell would appreciate it! Thank you all for your time and input!!!!!!!!!
