I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
It is the correct pattern (from what I see), but I believe these packs were used well past the end of the war (SA, HJ). Usually there is a maker's stamp inside and are sometimes dated. I've seen them in tan, grey, black. The small straps are either for the overcoat or the mess kit (there is a set for each).
