German Skull Insignia FOR REVIEW

I am posting this for my best, good, forum friend Josh.

He believes it to be a WWI vintage German uniform skull. Opinions would be greatly appreciated!

on it.... lol .... i believe it is called a Hussar skull, insignia used with German cavalry units during both wars.

Here is a size comparison shot...it is pretty big, that is why i believe hat insignia, plus with it being convex....
