    Default Godet issue wrapping paper

I don't normally collect 2nd class Eisernes Kreuz but a couple weeks ago I was at a
show and not wanting to leave empty handed, I bought a Godet Ek2 without a ribbon.

As luck would have it, I came across and original Godet marked, blue wrapping paper
with a length of original ribbon and safety pin, making for a very nice issue set.

    Congrats Greg!
Seems appropriate that they should be brought together.

Just as a woman needs new shoe to complete the outfit, your EK2 needed a coat, and it looks quite nice!!!!!

I agree about the domes and finding the originals is becoming very difficult.
Everytime I move that thing I am worried about the 100 year old velvet coming apart
    or braking the glass dome.
