Helmet w/ partial liner WW1 German Markings??

I just got this a few hours ago...sadly most of the liner is rusted in and damaged. I do have pieces of the original linning though. The plus are there too as you can see..

I paid $200 for this and a lot of other items in one bundle..hope I did alright? I have 2 bayonets as well I will list on here for info help

Nice M18 helmet. Its to bad about the liner, but the outside looks nice and it will display nicely. I also don't think you did terrible on the price, especially considering you got some other items. I would like to see the group together if you don't mind.

Thanks...I posted the other two german items, two bayonets...need some ID help with those...I also have severa US items in this lot, bad shape thoug but not terrible.

Nice buy original m16 or m17 with metal liner band ww1 German helmet all original paint is good. timothy

Woops, it is indeed an M17... My mistake. Changes no other statements about the helmet. Super score I would say!

What are the markings there would you say ? I see a Large Letter A ..hard to see. I know there are some other numbers on helmet too.
