    Hello, how are you guys?

    I won the auction for this iron cross from Klaus Butschek.
    It comes with the package and case of issue.
    And it`s marked "B".
    Well this is my first, first class Iron Cross and i will like to know what do you think about this one?Is everything ok?

    Looks excellent! Klaus is a pretty decent Seller! I'm sure that some one like Greg (Chopperman) will be along soon to comment on it! But I'd say you picked up a beautiful set!

    It is a very nice looking set. I really like crosses
    in this condition--slight wear to the beaded rim
    and a nice grey patina on the silver.

    I still do not know which maker used this style
    hardware ( hinge, pin, catch ) ( The catch on
    yours has been replaced but that does not detract
    at all from your cross) The core style is
    similar to that used by Wagner and Frielander
    as well as others. These crosses are found with
    different markings under the pin like the "B" on yours.
    Most of us believe that that was a forum of quality
    control mark used in manufacturing.

    Congrats on a nice set.

    I still do not have one with a cardboard outer carton.
