I.D Disc translation/info?

I have an I.D disc which was brought back by my great grandfather, I was wondering if anyone could identify what the markings mean?

Front:
Kurt Sqitzner
Eibenstock.EVord.Remerstr.17.
6.7.88.

Back:
J.R. 181 2. M.G.K. 52

Any info would be appreciated guys!

Kurt Sqitzner = Name
Eibenstock.EVord.Remerstr.17. = Home address
6.7.88. = date of birth

Back:
J.R. 181/ 2. M.G.K. /52 = Regiment/company/company number

I believe this is what it is. As far as not seeing the disc.
