    A recent addition to my skull collection.
    I have been considering adding an example of this insignia to my collection for some time now.
    When Greg posted his lovely example here and stated that the collection that these came from was being sold off, I decided now was the time.
    When I saw some more of these for sale from the same collection, I opted to purchase this one.

    I believe this very example is the same one posted in post #14 and #16 of this thread.
    Braunschweig Skulls

    Both Greg's example and this one have come from the owner of one of the most respected collections of these badges.

    Unfortunately, I have no history to this totenkopf other than it is from the Braunschweigisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 92.

    Knowing who you got it from, there is no question to it's authenticity.
