I just got this beautiful Friedländer (Fr) yesterday !
It didn't come that cheap, but I am very happy for it, and it has exactly the degree of use and patina that I prefer :-)

miro. i have this auto adjust on my nikon. triesd to move to manaul mode. doesant seam to do much better. tomarrow will buy a new camera so i can get some better pics. anyway had this for a while before i discovered this site. hope it turns out to be ok. it is marked 800 on the back i beleve, if that helps thanks deadeye

Hello Deadeye,

Here is Latvian compilation, so you can compare your cross against these. Tell me the result, but I am afraid it would be sad for you. My photo shows only screwback reverses, but hardware of your pinback EK1 is also Latvian one. Too wide needle, too subtle hinge, it is not good sign.

tried to get some better photos no use w/this camera, anyway your pics are hard to tell. my eye arent what the use to be (I GUESS OLD AGE IS SETIN IN) this does have a magnetic center would that make a difference. if not i think everyone on this forum has ended up w/something not authentic at one time or another. one thing is for sure. will never purchase anything in the future without forum approval.lesson learned. will be listing some things that i got along time ago. to see where i stand. as soon as i get a better camera for better photos. thanks for your help Miro. deadeye

Yes, it is always good to check some forum, mainly when you are not sure. It´s quick and easy, and people like to help. I hope your cross didn´t cost too much.
Will wait for your photos, but my eyes tell me this is Latvian. Maybe some experts will show up to add more to this.
