Hi Deadeye.
welcome to the imperial forum.
I am sorry to say that the 1st class cross is indeed a fake.
If you have access to a flatbed style scanner, you might try
scanning your crosses instead of photographing them. A lot
of the pictures I have posted here are scans.

Today I will go look at a KO, unfortunately not in as good condition as the Fr, some of the paint has chipped away.
If the price is right, I know I will be forced by my inner demon to buy it :-)

I was not really looking to buy another cross right now
but true Prinzen crosses are rare and when this thing
popped up on ebay, I just had to try for it.
