    Hello Marc,
Since your photos are not clear enough to compare frame details, I posted mine for reference. Compare the inner and outer corner frame details to yours. This should eliminate the "same maker, different cores" problem.

    Hi Ralph,
    The frames don't match !
On yours the 2 upper inner corners makes a checkered pattern, mine don't !

    Hello Marc,
Well, now you are half way to finding out who the maker of your cross is. We now know who it is not.
Now you just have to figure out who it is. There is also FW, EW, RW, W, and possibly more.
I am sure that Greg will be along in the near future and hopefully will add to this.
    Ralph.

I believe the mark is Luftwaffe.
Here is another cross with the same mark------

LW might be Louis Werner , Berlin but that has yet to be proved.

    Hi Greg,

    I don't think it is an L .
The visible stamp is like I sketched below !
Stamp is very defined at the top square, fading at the bottom point !
And what do you mean "Luftwaffe" ??

Compare it to this "E W" marked cross.

Not the best pictures but the cross is clearly marked E W.

I think it is it !!!!

Core, corners and the way the small ring is soldered match exactly :-)

    Hi Guys,

Any thoughts on this one ??
Greg mentioned much earlier on this tread, conversions from ek2 to ek1 with very unusual set up's ! Could this be one of those or is it ok ??
