While I do not collect documents myself, I enjoy seeing
some of them. It amazes me how some are just a typed
sheet of plane paper and some are very artistic.

myself around.
Nice one Oradour I really like them. Thanks for showing, Cheers, Richard.
Heres an nice example of an unmarked EK I, no marks on this one (not unusual), in good condition, slight knock/ding on bottom of frame, straight pin, with reinforced fastening hook. Thats it for two weeks, im off on my holidays....Yipeeee!.

Hi Oradour, Nice cross. Plenty of character Hope you have a good break, Cheers, Richard.
Thanks very much chaps....i certainly will, auf wiedersehen !
Hi Chaps, here's my latest. It's my first boxed EK1. It's maker marked S-W for Sy-Wagner, Berlin. It's also got a crescent moon stamp under the pin, which I think is a silver mark. It's the classic S-W with the pin being slightly longer than the body of the cross. Greg, the box has a different design to yours on the top. Is it the right style for this maker?
Cheers,
Richard.
Sweet cross Richard. Text book S-W style.
As for the box. I think yours is very typical of later boxes.
(mid to post war ) Earlier boxes tend to have a different push
button. BUT you have to remember that Imperial boxes can
come in many different sizes shapes and colors. Some boxes
are maker marked in ink under the velvet tray.
If the tray is not easily removed, don't force it. Makers marks
in boxes do not increase the value of the box or the cross. It's
not worth risking damage to the box just to satisfy curiosity.

Thanks Greg, the tray is well & truly stuck, so I'm not gonna risk it,

Hi Chaps, I thought I'd post my latest EK2. As you can see it's a Godet on perhaps the smallest ribbon you'll ever see I'll have to get a frack bar to mount it. Oradour says it all really & I can only second his comments. The core is as perfect as it could be with no wear or paint loss. There's only one defect a slight knock to one of the points.
Cheers,
Richard.
