Thanks to all guys. As the seller that has sold to me the cross is also a friend, I'll ask him if he has cleaned it. But I think no, because usually he doesn't clean anything. His "policy" is to leave the items in the same conditions he find them. In the past I have bought from him one ww2 Ek1 in "worned" condition, with oxidation on the frame. But I think it's beautiful. I will post it in the correct tread...
