A few makers offer crosses with frames made from alloys other
than silver. AWS , Otto Schickel and P-L come to mind.

Deumer had silver plated crosses that the silver that the plating
seems to have been very thin and wore of the high points very fast.

I don't remember seeing a CD that was not silver. That would be a
very nice variation for anyone's collection.

    Default First class Godet

    Hi Guys,

Haven´t posted (or aquired) any Imperial for a while. But I resently bought this cased Godet. Nothing fancy or exotic as you guys posted lately
    My first Godet 1 class
Cross is a standard flat Godet. Case is a little different though. it has no button or metal hinge. It is obviously an old box where this cross has "lived" for a long time (upside down) ! I guess it is a private purchased box. Any idea ??

PS the rust spot in the cover fits the spot on the cross, when placed upside down in box

I´d say the case is fine. If it is UV negative and metal parts are magnetic, I woudn´t have any problem with that.

Here is another new one for me.

This one was sold by Friedrich Sedlatzek and he was nice enough to
    put his name on it.

I have yet to identify the maker of the cross but hopefully in time, I can
    find a frame match.

Very nice cross with slant W core. And nice marking, as Sedlatzeks are many times marked very faintly.
