Article about: Excellent EKs you have there Chopperman. Can you tell me more info about this one?

Congrats on your first Imperial Ek1.
The 800 marks is indeed the silver content. My best guess is that
your cross is an unmarked "KO" made cross. The core details are
consistent with one of KOs known core styles and the rear hinge, pin
and catch look very much like those used by that maker.

    Gents,

The Post has recently graced me with three new arrivals! These cased examples of the Iron Cross in 2nd class are a welcome and very appreciated addition to my collection. These are absolutely lovely and they will display quite nicely. (still a work in progress in getting the proper case for my collection.) As time permits I'll post each individually.

Picked up this nice EKII and was wondering if anyone could tell me maker and core type. Identifying EK's is not my strength. Thanks for any help.

It's a fairly generic cross but my first thought is that it is an unmarked "KO"
    (Klein Quezner of Oberstein)

    Many thanks Chopperman.
What I liked most was the miniature that came along.

    Muito obrigado Chopperman.
O que gostei mais foi a miniatura que veio junto.

That's a really nice mini. It has very strong core details.
I really like Ek minis and I used to pick them up when I could but lately
it seems that prices on miniatures have gotten a little crazy.

I have one very similar to yours, mine however is not quite as nice.
