myself around.
Hi Chaps, I thought I'd post my latest purchase. I don't think there's an example of the standard EK1 box on the thread, so here it is. Just right for my W.S. made EK1, Cheers, Richard.
While I am not real good with cases, I think you have a nice
example of an Imperial case and it looks to be in very good
condition.

Thanks Greg. What I can make out from books is that this seems to be the standard type. I bought it from Detlev Niemanns site. Very reasonable; but man you got to be quick on that site to buy anything!!, Cheers, Richard.
Hey guys, i'm sorry to bother you with such a bad quality picture, but can anyone say if its a real one? Sure looks good to me, but i guess one can never be sure enough
I would lean towards saying original, but I would want to see a much better pic before advising you to spend money on it.
Cheers, Ade.
Hi, I'm of the same opinion as Ade. How much are they asking for it?, Cheers, Richard.
I didn't get it as the seller couldn't send better pictures. He asked quite much for it anyways, 60€.
I have another (cheaper) one in my sights now, here's a bad picture but I'll ask for more.
For some reason I actually like Imperial Ek's more than the 3. Reich ones Too bad 1870 Ek's cost so much. What's the normal going price for 1870 Ek2?
Hi, Imperial EK's are by far my favourite as well. There's much more variety in design than the TR. Although TR EK's still have their charms!!! As for the 1870 EK2, one sold for €400 on Detlev Niemanns site on Friday. Check out : -
