Hi gooseandspoons, that's certainly a 'well loved' EK2. Plenty of character. Nice one, Cheers, Richard.

Hi Chaps, here's my latest. A nice silver & enamel miniature EK2 on a silk ribbon. Probably a 'sweetheart' or a commemorative being dated 1914 & 1915. It's very nice quality & to give an idea of size I've put him next to a 'bigger brother' made by Godet, Cheers, Richard.

    Hello everyone.
Here I show you this EKII with manufacturer mark KO, I bought this Saturday 13th.
    Printing very well defined.

If I were going to recommend a book on Imperial Eks, it would
have to be Stephen Previtera's The Iron Time.
It has a good history of the Iron cross and is filled with a ton of great pictures.
Just got a copy of the 2nd edition of Stephen Previtera's, The Iron Time Bloody hell, what a brilliant book. I'll never be able to afford some of the EK's in there; but it's great to see so many rare items. Well worth the price. Back to the book for a drool!!!!, Cheers, Richard.

It is a VERY nice book. I've had the 1st edition for 10 years.
When I heard of a 2nd edition in the works, I jumped at the
    chance to get one.

A good history of the Iron Cross and absolutely great photos.

Hi Chaps, I thought I'd post my latest. It's a mid to late war EK1 box (for an FR made EK1) in the so called 'Bavarian' style (due to the diamond pattern on the lid being like the Bavarian national flag). It's had a bit of wear; but I like the character it has. I've also posted pics of my other 2 for comparison, Cheers, Richard.
