Thanks Oradour.
Thanks Oradour.
Hi Chaps, yeah I see what you mean. My one doesn't seem too bad, Cheers, Richard.
DUJAILAH, my KO marked 1st & 2nd class crosses are shown on page 9 of this thread, the finish on the 2nd class is not bad, but the 1st class .......a lot of paint loss. I must get round to posting my one piece crosses.
Hi Oradour, Yes, I see what you mean. I see yours have matching cores. Mine are in the other styles they used, Cheers, Richard.

Here is another one that I have not posted before.
It is a Blued sheetmetal core Ek1 with double screw posts.
It's not the most common combination, in fact I can only remember seeing maybe one or two like it. I just wish I had the
backplate for it.

Hi Greg, very nice cross I reckon the backplates for these were the sewn on to the uniform type & were left on the uniform, Cheers, Richard.
Hi Chaps, I'm not sure this is quite the right place; but here's my latest. It's a 100 page Iron Cross decorated photo album containing 38 postcards/feldposts. All the postcards feature an illustration or image of the Iron Cross. The majority of the postcards are from WW1 with one from WW2 and one dated 1899 featuring an 1870 EK. There's also one British WW1 propaganda card, Cheers, Richard.
Maker label. Having problems with the upload!!!
That is a great item I like it a lot.
Are the post cards used (are they writen on)?
