    Nice piece

    Hello everybody,

Some already know it, and here we show it. We talked a little about it and I thank you for helping dois identify its originality. The marking is very suspiciously belonging to HJ Wilm, Hof-und Silberschmiede, Berlin. The acquired in a sort of polish eBay for about 38 euros with shipping included (no bidders for it). I took a chance and I'm very happy, is the first piece of militaria I have and I look almost every day, gaping ... It's beautiful and even my girlfriend gets jealous xD

To me it means not only the historical period that was given but as something between the Napoleonic Wars until the present, as the oak leaves (a symbol proper German) still visible today (not forgetting the crosses were replaced from 1957) since in the old coins and banknotes of the German and in the current euro cents from the same source.

The pictures of this bit of history in my hands:

Here is a wonderful new addition to my collection. Im not sure what would be considered the rarest 1914 EK1 but this one is definately up there.Imperial EksImperial Eks

    Nice Lee.
Definitely one of the hard to find crosses. I am still looking
for one to add to my hoard.

    Sweet cross.
