Imperial German Navy officers buckle

Wanted to know what everyone thought of this buckle before I buy. Thanks in advance. I don’t think it’s fake just wanted seconds opinions.

The buckle is good, but it is missing the keeper/catch side. The buckle is in very nice condition, with most of the mercury fire gilding remaining on the buckle. Buckle is reasonably priced, probably because the keeper is missing

The black belt has nothing to do with the buckle. The black belt is Not Imperial German Navy, but you probably already know that.

Thanks a lot, mostly just looking at the buckle. Like you said I figured the belt wasn’t original.
