    What was it that Wolfgang Kapp said as he ended the Putsch? Something along the lines of "accomplishing everything that he set out to do"? I always laughed at that, poor fella got out foxed by the Socialists, and had no firm support really. I can imagine a young A. Hitler took very careful study of what went wrong exactly, and was careful not to let it happen to him.

    Apparently he didn't learn anything from the results of the Kapp Putsch, because he launched his own so-called Beer-Hall Putsch 0n 8-9 November 1923, which fell apart even more quickly than Kapp's effort. Dwight

    By the way, there is a very good semi-documentary German TV movie called "Die Konterrevolution" chronicling these events.

    German speakers can read more about it in this publication (but even those who don't speak the language might like the still photographs):
