    This one's up for sale, i like it very much but can't find anything about it.
    before i do a bidding i would like to know a bit about it worth, or its history.
    Please gents if you know anything about this type or who it might have used, (no maker mark, or reg. stamps), then let me know.

    I bought it today and will post better pictures when i have proper daylight, I found the answer in a publiced page of a german bayonet book.
    This one is exactly the same but it has a Wilhelm initial added to the grip.

    it's exactly the same as in the textbook:
    lenght blade 197mm
    total lenght knive 317mm
    blade wide 23 mm
    weight 413 gramm

    gerrit..stunning piece ! I like it ! thanks for showing.....looks like a former owner has added the cypher from the handle of an Infantry Officers M1889 sword....

    Here are the pictures, indeed the cypher has been added later prop. by its owner.
    Its been made with high precision, i like the white glass eyes.
    As you can read in the article its a private officers purchase and its been used as well as in the imperial, Reichswehr and later Wehrmacht army.
