    Default M16/17 Camo - G62 - Battle Damaged

Here is one that has been in storage for a long while, a true combat vet. It is a standard regulation 3 color camo, and the colors have stayed fairly true over the decades. The M17 liner with the white pads is a bit of a rat, but original to the piece, and has no blood damage, so hopefully the battle damage was sustained while it was not on the soldier's head. I think it is a fairly good example of this type of helmet, and I hope you like it. Jim G.

Thats a nice lid Jim, although i do think the battle damage does extend into the front of the liner, perhaps not to the extent of massive blood loss, but definately something there

Jim, a stunner ! thanks for showing... I see it is marked "G" and size 62, a nice shaped "Gebrueder Gnuechtel A.G." of Lauter, i./Sachsen. This company only made the size 62.
    Prost ! Steve.

Similar color scheme as well! I like it, and really get a kick out of the way they used to plug the lug vents like on your helmet. Nice helmet! Jim G.
