Thats a nice lid Jim, although i do think the battle damage does extend into the front of the liner, perhaps not to the extent of massive blood loss, but definately something there

Jim, a stunner ! thanks for showing... I see it is marked "G" and size 62, a nice shaped "Gebrueder Gnuechtel A.G." of Lauter, i./Sachsen. This company only made the size 62.

Similar color scheme as well! I like it, and really get a kick out of the way they used to plug the lug vents like on your helmet. Nice helmet! Jim G.
