M16 Helmet Camo G62

Got a chance to take some photos today so thought I would share my newest addition. I don't really collect WW1 helmets but this one just called out to me. The camo is even more vibrant in hand and the unusual black line painted round the rim makes it pop. The shell has some surface rust/patina and a stress crack in the front of the dome but does not retract from the look. The liner is in good condition considering it's age. Only markings I can find is G62 meaning it is a small sized 62cm lid made by Gebrüder Gnüchtel Lauter/Sachsen.

You are right! Would love to find an original chinstrap for this but they are rarer than hens teeth. Couldn't bare to display it with a repro strap fitted.
