    Hello, I am a Bulgarian and I really want to have such a bayonet because we used them during the First World War and for us Bulgarians these bayonets for sacred ...
    Do you think that any repairs have been made to it?
    Frog is not original for the period but I can buy original
    The photos are from the seller he wants 45 euros for him that is 90 leva

    Emo,

    Glad you posted this.. It will be good to hear what others think about the frog.. Just my opinion but I just don't think the frog belongs with this bayonet.. The leather hole looks too large and I would think it would cause the bayonet scabbard to slide around.. Not a tight fit..

    Hope others with more knowledge and experience will help..

    Sorry but this is a austrian WW1 piece, late period, that was delivered to Bulgaria in late 30ies as help from Germany, and refurbished there postwar for M95/34, with new crossguard,and serialing elektropenciled numbers, the scabbard is too austrian proofed, mostly there is on left ricasso a austrian eagle not a bulgarian lion. Frog is probably postwar bulgarian, for various bayonets. The price is in range as origin grips here and only light refurbishment. b.r.Andy

    Thank you so much for the help I saw more bayonets for sale I'll upload pictures of them there is a lion I think it will be good
