I would just like to recommend a really excellent book, which I consider a 'must' for anyone interested in the Imperial German armed forces as well as all aspects of Imperial Germany as such. Joe & Janet Robinson's "Handbook of Imperial Germany" is a superb peice of work, and as I say I'd recommend it very highly. Full of information on just about anything you can think of.

DPWICK...funny, has a similiar title as the "D.B.Nash" book printed in 1980, by Ian Allan Ltd of London...this is also an excellent book !....here is my well thumbed edition, bought around that time...
    Prost ! Steve.
