Re: My EKII 1914: Original or not? Maker?

Do not understand why it is not clear "L" (although it seems that there is one point can mean the horizontal line of this letter) and "M" has an "L" at the end (maybe a "M" but finished with a horizontal line to the right. Does have you seen another cross with the same kind of WILM's "M"? Thank you in advance
I think the difficulty in the stamping process is that you have a 'flat' stamp
which is to be impressed on a curved - in the case of EKII rings - convex
surface. Unless the marking is deep, you get a light
or partial impression.........

Re: My EKII 1914: Original or not? Maker?
Thank you very much guys!!!
3 questions more:
Do you have any idea about the ribbon at first sight? It is not original? I think it is suspicious cause of both edges. It is somewhat soft, shine a little, is something grayish white (in the pictures is whiter).
I am thinking about purchase the document because although I am an amateur collector I think is not a responsability buy it without it. It cost 30 euros. What would you do in my place?
And the last one. What do you have to keep this kind of kross? Is it normal the sell of these original boxes or replicas? I prefer not to keep it in a little plastic bag, of course.

Hard to tell anything from the small pictures. You'll need to post
a clear shot of the certificate.........

Buy the document-without it the medal becomes anonymous, unknown to history.

I don not understand why the seller had it separately, so I think cross and document were not together originally...
Thank you Lithgow
