    Hello,

I purchased this Prussian Guard Officer helmet in 2008 at the MAX Show from an older collector friend who was downsizing. I found the case separately and use it with the helmet.

Helmet was worn by one of 4-Units:

    - 5.Garde-Regt. zu Fuß Garde-Korps (Spandau) (Guard Regiment on Foot)
    - Garde-Füsilier-Regt. (Berlin) Garde-Korps (Guard Fussilier)
    - Garde-Pionier-Bataillon (Berlin) Garde-Korps (Guard Engineers)
    - Eisenbahn-Regt. Nr.1-4 (Railroad/Train Reg't)

Only 2.4% of the German Army wore this type of helmet.

    Best Regards,

    Alan

That is a very impressive helmet and in wonderful condition.
I can see why it's your favorite.

I've always been partial to a Bavarian officer helmet
    with all silver fittings.

Outstanding pickelhaube! It's one of my favorites also... The one I have is also a reserve officer with haarbush but I don't have the carrying case...
