My first Camo and its named

Article about: Kudos to the wife for finding this at an antiques shop for a reasonable price. Being the domestic budget analyst, she would not have "found" it if it was not reasonably priced.

A very nice honest looking helmet.

What does "2/44" after a name on helmet mean?

I have added the pics. Please don't use outside links.

    Cheers, Ade.

Nice piece Pablo - does the helmet have a maker's mark mark ? usually they are stamped somewhere around the chinstrap bales.

Very nice complete helmet, looks more of a splotch camo pattern with name and unit markings.

It makes the helmet a little special when the wife picks it up for you - I know - my wife has found at least 5 Super helmets for me. Congrat's on a super example. You are, like I am, a very lucky man to have such an understanding wife. Cheers, Jim G.
