    Hi leej11!
Could I ask you where did you buy the empty case? I should interested to purchase one to my cross and I do not usually see empty cases in militaria shops.

    Thank you
Hi, I got this case on ebay a few years ago.

    Excellent collection.
The EK topped by the 'Jubiläumsspange' is exquisite.
I only have a few WWI crosses, but definately want some more.
Might I also add, that altough you mentioned that you are a dealer, your enthusiasm for these artifacts stands out in your thread.
    PS
Really liked the cardboard box inscriptions also "Only to be opened by the awardee" how neat is that.

Here is my newest addition. Seller clamed it was awarded to-

    Herbert Schwartz
    Leutnant der Res. R.I.R. 28
    Innocentiastr. 51 Hamburg 37

The case and cross are in great condition. These cases are considered to be early but has anyone seen a Godet in anything other than these colored cases? Click image for larger version.

Sweet cross in an early case.
It's a great set and having a name to go with it just makes
    it that much nicer.
