It looks as though I'm collecting these - according to a late dear friend of mine it took at least three of anything before it would qualify as a collection, and have just added a third. So far there's a 1916-dated pionere sawtooth bayonet by Simson & Co., Suhl; a somewhat rare and undated Frister und Rossmann, Berlin with a sub-contracted J.Henckels blade with the zwilling/twins logo; and another 1916-dated by Waffenfabrik Mauser A G, Oberndorf. The first two were pretty rusty and with textured blades, the Rossmann missing its scabbard; the Mauser is in the best shape though missing the chape to its scabbard but has added serial numbers and evidence of light bluing that I believe indicates post-war use. I don't have any idea what the W. 8. on the pommel indicates, though.

    I like these bayos.
I've got a box full of bayonets from all over the world and the only
one I display is my sawtooth 98/05.

Yes, I've enjoyed drooling over various parts of Adler's collection before! I have to say though that I'd never be able to fit it into my available space, which is constantly undergoing rearrangement to try to fit in the little I do have.
