Long time no see mate! Nice helm you got there (you always get the best deals going!). As Ade said, the blocked vents are nice to see, I believe that the soldiers used to block them up with paper or mud because they had a habit of whistling and giving the game away so to speak!!

Hi and thanks guys for the nice comments im glad you liked it and Ned nice to see you too mate i will be be visiting more often now as this new server seems a lot faster than the last one, the vents have been blocked with what appears to be wood , heres a couple of pics with it now with my only other ww1 helmet which appears to have been used after ww1 by the freikorp , thanks again Dave
