Enigma, these skulls look quite good (especially the enlisted mans version !) and may well be original, however they are highly debated amongst collectors, I heard that a stash of originals were found in Berlin some time ago on a building site, if they are cheap enough, go for them ! I believe they were also used in the Third Reich period.
