Need some help

I didn't know where to post this in the forums, so my apologies for not getting it in the right one.
I am guessing that this is some sort of " 25year" pin for the fire department..?
Anyone have an idea what time frame this would be..?

hi thare, it has the baverian state coat of arms, and ribbon, its a gold award, usually means 25yrs service and its for the fire defence, 1915, 1920..i may be totally wrong...

SatansCabanaBoy, darrenj40 is correct, it is a 25year long service clasp/award for Bavarian Fire service, however the time frame is upto 1918, after that any Bavarian award did not feature the 'Crown' as the Bavarian Royal family was desolved at the end of WW1, and it became a socialist republic and then part of the Weimar republic, before being a Lander of Third Reich Germany. So the 'Crown' on Bavarian awards/decorations can date the piece before 1919.
