Believe it or not, an auction house. I live in a town no bigger than 1600 people. We have an auction house that takes on consignments. A woman cleaned out her dead father's attic to raise spending cash for her European vacation she's going on the end of this month.

The people thought I was nuts spending that kind of cash on an "old helmet". I knew it was worth more than that, but had no idea just how much. It was appraised by Kelly Hicks even. Shocked the snot out of me when I found out what they go for!
