Ohrenausschnit

Hello guys,

I've found here in Kabul on a local market this 'Ohrenausschnit'. People told me
that I should definitely buy these helmet because they are becoming rare.
The helm is in relic condition without liner and is a little bit twisted, like there was some weight on it or something. Also the decal of the National Afghan Army
(ANA) at the right side of the helmet is missing.
The seller's price is 90€ or 125$.
Should I spend it on this rare helmet or leave it...???

Kris.....dont waste your money...although these "Cavalry" helmets were supplied to Afghanistan alnog with M17/18's this is not one of them, its a messed with M18, that some enterprising git has cut out a piece to emulate that very rare beast.....even the fakers are in the middle of nowhere, its enough to make you take up knitting !...it is worthless.
