Actually, the helmet has been coated in linseed oil I think Mathieu?

I'd like to remove the linseed oil and then wax the shell, I think it gives a nice sheen to the paint. Plus makes it smell purdy!

After zooming in on a macro shot of the general area of the makers stamp I think I can see the lower part of a '66'...or am I seeing things?
