opinions on prewar pickelhaube cover with REG numbers

Hi, I would like your opinions on this cover with numbers, I believe its a private purchase that was reissued at one point in its life as you can see the ghost number six under the seven or numbers were apllied at some time later in the collector world, dont know, I feel it has the benefit of the doubt, what do you think?

Sadurni...as SteveR, totally 100% original and at that price it bloody well should be ! everything at the collectors guild is usually a safe bet...but at a price, and I thought mine was expensive at £75 a few years ago ! mind you it has no numbers/letters.
