Pickelhaube liner preservation

Article about: Any suggestions on how to keep my EM pickelhaube liner from disintegrating? Will hairspray keep it together? Any ideas?

    on leather though nonetheless, and isn't hauben leather brittle and cracked often? If all else fails, then you can;t go wrong with Renaissance Wax...

    MP, now your talking !....Renaissance wax the ONLY substance I now put on most of my collection, wether it be leather or metal !
