This is the only one I ever found from ww1.
I found it in a field in Meuse Argonne close to my German sniper helmet shield.

Here's my WW1 ID disc, and one very special to me, as it has my family name on it! (At least how it used to be spelled) I found this on Ebay one night and nearly fell out of my chair when I read the name! No one in my family knew where our family came from in Germany, but with the help of this ID disc, now I know Thüringen. Pictured with my M16 and a Reichsflagge.
