    Here´s a bavarian Gefreiter, (private), wearing the 1915 pattern tunic, (introduced in 1916 in Bavaria), and, a private purchased cap.

    The soldier carries a, also private purchased, hunting knife, (a, so-called, knicker).

    A photo of one I am still looking to add to my collection.
    I guess that comes from my love of stag handled edged weapons.
