    Default Prussian sword m89

I recently bought this sword, first of all the bakelight handle is brown, there is a name and location, or a distributors name etched on the spine of the blade (H W Schmidt Luneburg), and no maker mark. What is the name represent on this blade? No maker mark, and is it possible to have a brown handle? Where did this originate from? I found the name but I am sure it is not who i want it to be, and the luneburg seems to be a town... Any feedback is greatly appreciated...THe last pics have a maker mark but is it anything special? missing the guard.

I just noticed the m89 has a cross under the breast shield, does this represnet a unit or something? Also, if anyone wants to know, the blade is straight.

Does anyone know anything about these swords? what does the 99 on the scabbard represent, and is it common to find a name on the top of the blade?

"Eisenhauer" is a blade proof mark which means iron proof.
Eisenhauer comes from the word Eisenhauerklinge, iron cutting.
The bottom one looks like an Heer enlisted mans saber made by
Paul seilheimer but after imperial times due to the celluiod grip.

Thank you, what does the etched name on the spine of the blade represent? is it the owners name and city or maker and city?
