    Here's a photo of the German Sawback Bayonet 98/05, maker-marked ANKER-WERKE (Bielefeld) that I recently purchased through Stewarts Military Antiques, thanks to a heads up from Oradour.
    An additional "Thank You" goes to Adler for his assistance as well.

    This may very well be the first of many.

    I know. My camera is junk! I did get some closeups but they looked bad. Sorry. A good camera is next on my list.

    Luke...glad you got sorted at "Stewarts militaria" they are great couple to deal with ! The sawback is a stunner ! the helmet is cammo ?....... also what are the mm inside ....for example "ET64", and on the inside of the top of the helmet......example, "Bi1234, these markings will give not only give the maker of the helmet, but could I.D. the rolling mill where the sheet steel came from !
