Relic M18 Camo

Article about: Hello guys. This is a helmet that I have for a long time now. I guess that it is old camo patern from WW1. What is the value of this old relic helmet? Kris.

    Hello guys. This is a helmet that I have for a long time now.
    I guess that it is old camo patern from WW1.
    What is the value of this old relic helmet?

    Kris...it is an M16 model not an M18, evident by its M91 type chinstrap mounts on the inside skirt....M18 had chinstrap bails attached to the liner band.....this is a nice example, I would say a size 66 or 68 by the appearence of the vents..it should be maker marked on the inside of the skirt near to the chinstrap mount, for example "ET66".....

    Krikke, that's not an M18, but an M16 (leather linerband) or M17 (metal linerband) because of the lugs for the chinstrap. The chinstrap of an M18 is attached to the metal linerband...

    I have no experiance with empty helmet shells because I never buy them, but I guess it can be something about 100 euros or so?
