A small Imperial Collection
Hi all,
Just thought I would post a quick shot of my small but growing German collection. This past weekend I added my first Pickelhaube. The framed EK2 was nice until I tipped it over last week and knocked it loose from the fitting. The Mauser 1914 is a WW2 bring back that still has the hang tag affixed. The Luger is a 1918/1920 Erfurt that is unit marked to a Weimar unit out of Paderborn. The Gew98 is a 1917 Simson and Shul that was brought back by a USGI who struck his name and serial number in the floor plate and stock. The EK1 is a Godet and Son. Just thought you all would like to see what I have gotten so far.

Re: A small Imperial Collection
The P08 was the first piece I got, and I got very lucky in finding it at a local gun shop. The clerk at the shop didn't know what a Luger was when I asked to see it. They deal mostly in new guns, but still who doesn't know a Luger. I love to shoot it but it is numbers matching and I'm afraid I'll break a part. So now I'm looking for a poor physical condition gun so I don't have to worry.
